About me

Hi, I’m Dunya :)

I am a 22-year-old Master’s student in Integrated Product Design at TU Delft with a background in Industrial Design Engineering. I was born and raised in the Netherlands and have a Moroccan background, which shapes how I see community, culture, and connection in design.

I am analytical, hardworking, and structured in the way I plan and execute projects. I thrive in collaborative environments and feel most energized when working with others toward a shared goal. As a natural people’s person, I enjoy bringing energy into a team, aligning perspectives, and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels heard and motivated. At the same time, I enjoy challenging myself individually, whether that is stepping outside my comfort zone creatively or diving deep into a new topic.

As a designer, I look beyond pure problem-solving. I am interested in how products and systems shape human experiences, relationships, and perspectives. My work balances analytical thinking with empathy, aiming to create meaningful, well-crafted solutions that are both functional and thoughtful. I am particularly drawn to integrated digital-physical systems and designs that make complex realities tangible and human.

Outside of design, I am a climbing enthusiast and someone who seems to develop a new interest every few weeks. I love food, reading, watching movies, traveling, being outdoors, exploring music albums, and spending time with family and friends. And cats!!
